people ask me if i do candid work since most of what i am putting up on the blog is portrait stuff from the weddings i shoot. yes i do candid and pj work at every wedding but i am more known for the ultra cool portraits and wedding party photoshoots. soooo when i asked alyssa and aric at our pre-weding meeting where they wanted to go for their photoshoot aric looked at me and said how about a run down gas station in north minneapolis.... OH YEAH!

lauren was a bridesmaid at a wedding i shot a few years back, such a beautiful couple on the inside and out. we had a fabulous time and a beautiful day. congratulations lauren and mark!

hunter and reese, what fabulous names and these kids are so adorable and just angels. they were more than willing to take direction and put their own personality into it to create some amazing images.

back to work!!!!! i was on vacation at wisconsin dells last week, waterpark capital of the world is what they claim and i dont doubt it. the main street in town reminded me of a mini old town las vegas and i have never seen so many waterparks, every hotel and motel had some sort of slide, i even saw one that put what looked like a little tykes playground inside the motel swimming pool for a make-shift waterslide. kids had a blast and now its time to get back into the groove so here are a few images from a session i just finished, isnt she just adorable! love her name too.

ok im breakin my own rules on this one. i have been up half the night working on these so there is no way im not going to show em all! cant wait for the wedding in a few weeks at the fabulous new chambers hotel! this is also a small taste of the what the images will look like on my new blog. it will be modified and cleaned up and the images will be even bigger than they are here. i just love my job!!!

what can i say about this one? what a fabulous event and beautiful wedding. there are a ton of photos i could have picked to showcase for this one but i am really limited with the current blog and i seem to gravitate towards posting the portraits if you havent noticed ;) i have a new blog coming out within a few weeks and it will be fabulous and i will be posting many pmore photos from each event when its released so check back often to see it.

congratulations to you reena + joe, you two are a terrific couple and were great fun to work with. i hope you enjoy the photos!
