i did a studio shoot last week with my amazing friend jen. heres a sneak peek, i will load more later this week.  

i have had people over the years ask me about mentoring them or doing workshops and now we are going to finally start with a program. more details will follow soon. if you are interested in either of these please email the studio at info@michaelbstudios.com and we will put you on the list to get you all the details.

i traveled to des moines for this one and it was well worth the drive. such an elegant, amazing event. i would love to post more from this lavish gala but i have to get back to work. congratulations kathryn and oscar!

i know it has been more than 6 months since i have posted to the blog and i promise to get better. i have over a dozen albums to finish, 4 weddings to edit and a few portrait sessions and all of these have to take priority over the blog. i am catching up quickly though and hope to have more new photos on the blog soon. until then here is a few from a recent engagement session and i apologize to all the weddings that havent made the blog. i would really like to get them all on here but lately it hasnt been possible.

funny story too, i was in the lobby of the hotel on my laptop answering emails and a couple from minnesota was there checking out places to have their wedding in december and recognized me. needless to say i will be back the first week of december to shoot their wedding.
